Film. Beautiful, nostalgic, full of feeling. There’s something so special about the softness and honesty of it all — the grain, the movement, the imperfections that somehow make everything feel even more real. I love that people are falling back in love with analogue photography again.
I actually started my photography journey shooting and developing film, and loved the process so much that when I was 20, my Dad let me turn his beloved shed into my very own darkroom. A dream.
Now all these years later, returning to film feels natural. It’s slower, more thoughtful, waiting for moments to unfold naturally, there’s a quiet magic in documenting special days on film that digital can never quite replicate.
