A little bit about me..

Looking back I was always going to be a photographer, documenting people, I've always been drawn to humans and their little ways. Then there’s my obsession with light, nothing gets me more excited than putting people in beautiful light. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to call this not only my job but my passion. After 10 or so years, I can truly say I still love photographing people in love. I still get nervous, excited before your big day and will always leave your Wedding on such a high, telling myself how lucky I am on the drive home.

As a person, my natural state is ‘cool, calm, collected’. I don't stress easy. I adore dogs and love to spend time disconnecting from the busyness of life in my wee camper van sleeping by the sea with my other half. One of my favourite ways to unwind is drinking warm tea with a bag of Tayto and watching TV. I love to travel and seeing a new country will always win over buying new clothes. I love interiors and in another life I’d be designing homes and creating beautiful spaces for people to live in.

How I work...

My approach to shooting a wedding definitely isn't traditional. I photograph things as they happen, naturally and honestly. One thing I can promise you is a relaxed, stress free experience. I like to think of myself primarily as a documentary photographer with a quiet, soulful, unfussy style. I often find my favourite photographs are the ‘in-between’ moments, that’s what gets me most excited, that’s where the magic happens. I try to mix these real, imperfect moments with timeless, relaxed portraits to give you a well rounded collection of beautiful images that you’ll treasure forever.

My love for photography started in a dark room with film therefore I adore a dreamy film like quality to my work. Blur, grain, motion, light, darkness, all these elements convey so much more emotion than sharp, stale, over posed images. I want your images to reflect the truth about your day, the small gestures and little glances so when you look back you'll remember exactly how it felt.
