Titanic Hotel Belfast Wedding.
When Mick ad Ashley got in touch to enquire about photography for their Wedding at the new Titanic Hotel, I jumped at the chance. One of the things I love about my job is that I get access to these incredible venues all over Ireland and Northern Ireland. I was delighted when they booked me.
Mick is Belfast born and bred and Ashley is from Liverpool. The Titanic Hotel was the perfect location for the two to bring their families together. They live in London so we decided to meet for a coffee a few days before the Wedding at the hotel. We could have talked for hours. They told me about their families, their journey as a couple and I just knew that I was going to have the best day with them.
Their Wedding was one of the most intense emotional rollercoasters I’ve ever been on. When you totally immerse yourself in someones day it’s too hard not to get caught up in the emotion. Luckily I have my camera to hide behind.
My heart was bursting every time I saw Ashley’s Dad. What a gem. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so proud. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone shed so many tears of joy. Complete joy. Take note of him when browsing the images. And I challenge you not to be moved by his face, so full of expression and gratitude.
When it came time for first dance the energy in the room was almost tangible. I left here on such a high and filled with so much gratitude that I get to witness these moments for a living.
